Antunes é uma das varias praias que fazem parte do município de Maragogi, situado no extremo litoral norte de Alagoas, fazendo divisa com Pernambuco. Ela fica entre as praias de Barra Grande e Dourado.

Tem como uma de suas principais características os bancos de areia que se formam na maré baixa, onde é possível ir caminhando mar adentro com água na altura do joelho. Aproveite esse momento para explorar as piscinas naturais repletas de arrecifes e corais que se formam durante o fenômeno.

Com cenários paradisíacos, a praia é cercada por coqueiros, tem água quentinha e areia branquinha, convidando para uma boa caminhada ou banho de mar. A região não possui muita infraestrutura, então leve o necessário para aproveitar a beleza cativante da praia.

O mar é bastante calmo e a diversidade de peixes que habitam essa área é imensa. Distante à apenas 7 km do centro de Maragogi, a atração é uma das mais concorridas pela tranquilidade que a praia oferece. Stand up paddle, caiaque e vela são esportes bastante praticados por lá devido à tranquilidade das águas cristalinas. Ah, o entardecer aqui é magnífico.

É possível tanto fazer um bate e volta desde Maceió ou Recife, Pernambuco, como ficando hospedado na região de Maragogi ou Japaratinga.

Como chegar?
Saindo do centro de Maragogi, é só pegar a rodovia principal (AL – 101) sentido norte, em direção a Recife. Em 10 minutos você chega lá. Caso vá de lancha, pelo mar, são 20 minutos contemplando as belezas das praias do entorno.
